Hit and run
mishap injures
CMU student
A hit and run driver injured a
CMU student early Sunday morning, the Mount Pleasant Police
Depart menl said.
Sharon Gardner, Farminj-ftoo
Hills junior was treated at Central Michigan Community
Hospital and released after she
was hit by a car while walking
across Oak Street just before 3
a.m. Sunday.
Gardner approximately '_'50 feet
before Maple Street, police s.aid.
The driver of the car did not
stop to see what condition (lard

northbound on Oak Strci-t.
police said.
Gardner was taken to CMCH
by an Isabella County um
bulance. a nursing supervisor
said.
