"Anyone who would be eli;; k'!e for the eler

Fowley. program specialist for the I'.S. Depart
ment of Kduca'ion.
The Selective Service Act requires any
American man who is at least 18 years old and
born after 1900 to register.
President Ronald Rcanan sinned the lull into
law in September, but Robert Walling, director of
Financial Aids, said il has not been determined not trying to use the law as a punishment for
how universities and colleges w ill enforce i!. those who have not registered, but as a reward

been houndiru; me to "Kick
the Habit."
1 think smokers continue
smoking just because so manv
people want them to stop.
When people harp on me to
quit, that creates pressure.
The reason 1 smoke is to
rehev e t he pressure.
Smokers have rights to
breathe impurities if thev
choose. We develop delensivc
attitudes when reminded con
stantly of something we
already k now to be w mm;.
