Bedore Gains 55 Per Cent
Of Almost 2200 Votes Cast

The Voice Ticket made a clean sweep of. student body
offices Wednesday.
„ Elected president was Jim Bedore, who carried 55 per
cent of the almost 2,200 ballots cast for the campus-wide offices. Joe Sweeney was elected, vice-president; Leah Saunders, secretary, and Robert Burkett, treasurer.
Bedpre carried-yates from 12 of the l£ polling areas. His
opponent, Jim .Hasselback.of the Action ticket, polled all but
16 per cent of the votes in his'-dorm, Barries. Bedore lost the
University CentejeJoy one vote, and Sweeney Hall went to
Hasselback with a Iburper cent margin.

In the race for treasurer,
Burkett received 41 per cent;
Robert Anderson, Aetion,, 32 per
cent; and William Acton, Independent, 2% per cent;
New senior class officers are
Roy Koenigsknecht, president;
Walter Rakecky, vice-president;
Judy Bollman, secretary; Mari-
lie Dani, treasurer, all Independents, and Matthew Teng Tay-
chachaiyawongse, senator, Senior Class ticket.
The Junior Class voting

named president; Jake Roberts,
Experience, vice-president; Ann

treasurer, and Paul Rawley, Experience, senator.
Tom Chamberlain, who was
elected president of the Sophomore class", was the only successful candidate on the Sophomore Students' Rights, ticket.
