i
I AM PROUD
I am proud of ihe siudents
of ihis college. Here is why—
We had two nights of enthusiastic campaigning for
the candidates for queen of
the Homecoming. You acquitted yourselves as ladies
and gentlemen. There was a
lot of wholesome fun and
good spirit on a high level.
Friday a large number of
students turned out at 5:30
in the morning to send the
football team on its way to
Southern Illinois. When
about two hundred students
or more will turn out for a
pep rally at this hour one
cannot help but be proud. I
think the pep rally was good
for me, for I got to see a sun
rise again.
