Connty Farm Bureau was held at
Harrison tbe first of tbe week.
About forty delegates representing
tbe different townships of the county
were present and a most harmooiom,
gathering was tbe result. -

County Agricultural Agent of Gladwin, connty were present and gave

Blanche Benner. Those surviving
are Mra. Emma Miser, of Dover, and

Celestia Sarr was born in Cayuga
township, Norfolk county, Canada,
February 28, 1841, and passed from
this life at ber home in Hinkleville,
Jannary 2, 1923 at tbe ripe old age or
Kl years 10 monlbs and 6 days
February, 1856 she was united in
marriage to James Sherman, of
Walsingbam county, Canada. To
this aoion were born nine children,
one dying in infancy, ntimely Albert,
Dade, Jobn, Mrs. Jane Lewis, James,
Mrs. Jessie Stevens and Charles, all
of whom reside in Olare and Isabella
counties. Her husband preceded ber
in death about 18 years.' '
They came to their, present home
about forty-three years ago, where
she endured the hardships of pioneer
life In the making of their new home.
The funeral was held from the home
on Wednesday afternoon " January
4tb at 14)0 o'clock. Rev. E. W. Davis
officiating and the remains laid to

rest in tbe Surrey cemetery,
six sons acted as pallbearers.
