Dr. R. H. Rivers Steals a March,
Secures a Bride aud Returns
to the City
Some days* ago Dr. E. H. Rivers left

bave proven that the good doctor was
on a far more important mission. On
Wednesday morning he arrived home,
but he came not alone, fie was accompanied by Mrs. Rivers, and the
tale Is told. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride, Miss
l-Tellie l£. Presley, at Glare, Mich., November 15, and was a quiet affair, only-
relatives and a few intimate friends
being present. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs, Rivers left for
Chicago, whete tbey remained until
Tuesday evening arriving in this city
Wednesday. ,
Dr. Rivers, the groom, has been a
resident of this city for several years,
and by his integrity and gentlemanly
bearings has won hosts of friends.
The bride is a charming young lady,
and will doubtless prove a valued addition to tne society of this city.
On the day Of the arrival of Mr. and
Mrs. Rivers, Mr. and Mrs. ITount Fox

dinner at their home to which many
of the doctor's friends were inVlted.
