Voting on tiie Charter.
On November.25 the people of Clare
will decide whether to remain under
the present charter or to adopt the
new one passed by the last session of
the legislature for cities of the fourth
class, i. e.5 cities of 10.000 or less inhabitants. -
To vote intelligently everyone
should be familiar with the provisions
of each charter for which purpose
copies can be seen at the Senti-nel office or at Kirkbride's store.
Do not vote at random as this is of
vital importance to every tax payer,
but read the charters and vote for the
best interests of Clare.
The style of the ballot will be as follows:
For becoming reincorporated under
the general law; Yes [ ]
For becoming incorporated nnder
the general law; Io[' ]
So you will observe the question is
on the- new charter and the vote is Yes
or ~Eo on its adoption.
