Inspectors of Grant and Arthur township was argued in the Supreme Court

Dr. Maynard reports that William
Dixon, son of Joseph Dixon of Vernon, is seriously sick, the result of injuries sustained to his leg several
months ago. The young man fell recently and again hurt the leg, causing'

Jimmie Daugherty was so severely
injured while at play Tuesday that
he had to be carried home. A playmate accidentily kicked him on tha
knee.

$2.50 ; intermediate, $1.50 ; primary
departments, $1.00. per term of three
months.

vard Ross finish Physiology this
week and will begin fivil Government next.
An at'ompt has been made to
grade the Clare schools with the following result: first primary, three
grades; second primary, two grades ;
intermediate, two grades; high school
three grades, making ten in all. The
grading on the start is necessarily
imperfect, but the grades are distinct
and, with a little good management
there is no reason why Clare can not,
in a year or two, boast as good a
graded school as any town of its size
in the state. The ten years course,
adopted by the. School Board, provides for the following subjects in addition to the "common branches.: "
