audience Wednesday evening on "What
the Stones Say."
The dove of peace has settled downup-
rih fractional school district No. 7, Arthur
and Hatton, and tliera is no longer any
trace of tho troubles which divided the
district for so long. May tho present
happy condition of affairs long continue.
The Cleaver says: WTo have now in
Hayes township a legal curiosity. The
township board has appointed R. Smith,
one of their member, treasurer of the
township, in placo of T. H. Lavery resigned, Mr. Smith appointed himself,
give bonds to himself and must, of course
settle with himself. And the board says
this is a legal proceeding.
A post mortem examination on the remains of Nettie, the daughter of County
Treasurer Averill, disclosed tho fact that
a large tumor had formed itsolf in the
pelvis, and was gradually working
through the entire system. The tumor
is said to have weighed six pounds. The
suffering of tho little ono during it. long
lingering sickness must have been beyond conception.
E. Jj. Pratt is running six camps this

and convicted of assault and battery upon

Dr. Thompson went to Detroit Tuesday to be gone four days.
