them. In July last, Dahlia dropped .
twin heifer calves. They are certain- J
ly beauties in form and color, and
weigh respectively 317 and 321 lbs*,
{'Dec. SI, 1888.) Mr. Converse is very
proud of them, and all the more so,as
Dahlia's heifer calves, so far as tested
have proved excellent milkers.
We give the milk yield of a few
cows and heifers, in Mr. Tubb's herd
that trace back to old Dahlia in their,
pedigree. Two in the' list trace to
other cows jn Mr. Converse's herd.
