neighbors one morning where the
threshing machine stood and they all
said, "John tell us a good lie," he said

see the dead man, but it was a lie,f or
when they got there the dead man was
out feeding his pigs.

by Rev. M. D. Rogers of Clare, at the
Baptist church in Gilmore last Tues- .
day and Wednesday evenings. It was
a monstrous turn out. Quite a few
from this vicinity attended. The mormons took up Rev. Rogers' challenge
and a debate was voted to be held in
that vicinity, if so they will have a
short-hand reporter that will take
down both sides of the argument, so
both sides will appear in print.
