A city convention composed of yoters

at .the G. A, E. hall last evening, when
the following candidates were placed in
nomination:
Mayor—C. W. Perry,
Clerk—C. I. Bigley.
Treasurer—J. W. Calkins.,
Justice, 4 y'rs—A. W. Mclntyre.
Justice, 2 y'rs—J. H. Carpenter. •
At present it is the only ticket" in the
field. I-Tq other caucus call has been
noticed and the indications are that it
will have no opposition. It seems to
meet the approval of nearly eyery yoter
in the yillage, The, nonlinatioiis are
good ones. •

evening with the following result: Supervisor, Dr; M. "Dl Davis; Aldermen,
Jas. L. Welch and Ed. Unicome; Constable, Ernest Wood.
The 2nd wai*d caucus was held at the
town h&ll Wednesday'evening and nominated the following, named officers: Supervisor, Jacob Mason; Aldermen, C. H.
Sutherland and David Rorison; Constable, J. C, Rorison.

Main street and the following nominations made: Supervisor, J. E. Tatman;

building on west 6th street, in which
they will put a new planer and other'

power. They will manufa6ture bee
hives. The factory will start about May

the next supervisoi of Grant township.
There is no one in the township, more
eminently qualified for the position than
he. So popular is his candidacy-that he

Last Friday- afternoon Frank "Lattimore of Midland county, made complaint before S. F. Fine against- Richard

property. He says he had no trouble in
