on Tuesday and with a good attendance. "American Authors ; was the
general topic for the day and it drew

Boy Scout Social.
On Friday evening, Feb. 21, at the
Sberidan town ball, a public demonstration service will be beid by the
boy scouts of Sberidan Following
tbe service a pie social will be given
for tbe benefit of tbe troop. All
ladies are invited to bring cake or
pie. Come and belp the boys of our
community.

Vaccine poisoning developed a

friends and will be missed by all.
He leaves to mourn tbeir loss a
father, stepmother, one sister Meda,
one brotber, Russell, and one half-
brother. Max, besides many uther relatives, who will grieve at his untimely decease

The child of Mr. and Mra. Pat Battles of Vernon, some six years of age,
bad a narrow escape from deatb laet

on tbe child. It was thought at first
tbat fatal resolta would follow, bat
at last reports tbe child bids fair to
recover.
Mrs. Geo. E. Benner read an interesting sketch of Mary Roberts Rhine
bart and Mrs. L. E. Davy a paper on
Marie Corelli which were well received.
The Club were favored by two solos by Mrs. E. A. Anderson, Miss
Gundffcr accompanying, and tbe latter also delighted with an instrumental selection.
Tbe Club will meet again in two
weeks with Mre. Dorsey.

Tbe cbapei exercises of tbe schools
carried out at tbe Methodist cburch
on Friday morning were very interesting and doubtless much appreciated
by all present. We were not present
bnt bear nothing bnt praise of the
manner in which all concerned acquitted themselves. Beside the pupils
and tbose of tbe parents wbo could
attend, tbere was room for only a
very limited number of otbers.
