This much, we   have   taken some
pain* from early life to live a tolera- j
hly moivl life, believing the same  to j

■ deal honestly with  our fellow men,
I never used profane  language—nevi i
took an oath in our life, never used ;

have never published a newspaper,
(of which we had three at one time;
hut what   was  pronounced   in   the

j    Now if tiie above be true, Jimmy
isn't a bad sort ofa fellow, at all, and
somebody lias been misunderstand ing
him all the while; for in the various
newspaper wars in whieh behas been
engaged he has been pietty roughly
assailed and accused of things of which
he, in the above, intimates he,  could
not have beon guilty.   But the An/-
kto- becomes more specific upon one
point, and adds:
