Horth Sheridan,
Correspondence of The Press,
North Sheridan, July 10.
People in this locality that celebrated at Clare were well satisfied.—
All report a jolly time.
^No little excitement prevailed
1&^ on Monday. Burch Dowd's
3-yr-old child was missed. The
neighborhood promptly turned out
and diligent search was made for the
lost one, who was found in the woods
over a mile from home.
Mr. A. Teal and. wife have the
youngest of the- MeSeil children,
whose mother died not long since.
The saw mill north of Anderson's
is slowly progressing. It is a good
building and if the proprietors are
good business men,, the -mill will
prove a source of benefit to this locality.; . •
Wm: A. Thompson, after a long
and serious illness, is about again.—
Mrs. T., also, has been quite sick.
Working on the road was in order
last Friday and Saturday.
A. P. Brewer made Dover a flying
visit last week, looking after his farm
and lumber interests in this vicinity.
