yesterday discovered a robbers' den in a cedar swamp,
south of the city. Large
quantities of goods have been
stolen from stores, freight
cars and other places, but the

some shooting, but were finally traced to the swamp and

Michigan Hardwood Manufacturers'association. Thirty
members subscribed $2,700 to
the capital stock of the Michigan Maple association, and It
is expected to increase this
sum to $10,000.
The association will curtail
output and and increase
prices as rapidly as is thought
advisable by a board of directors. The entire output of
the members will be handled
by the "trust."
