W. H. Wilson & Son, who have carried on extensive lumbering and milling
operations in Harrison and vicinity for
the past five years, were on Monday
closed out by the Flint Commercial and
Savings bank, which held a mortgago
against the plant and stock for claims
aggregating §23,000. The yards of the
firm in Flint were replevinedby .the bank
and are being inventoried. It is extremely unfortunate for the firm that it should
be compelled to sacrifice* so much, (the
value of the property mortgaged being
§75,000) as the membora have labored
faithfully to carry it through the dull
times, and no doubt would have been
successful with even a fair market for
lumber. The blow is also a serious one
for Harrison, as it in all probability removes ono of its chief industries. The
COTOitGR sincerely hppfeB that the Messrs.
Wilson may yet -fitd a way out of the

may be able to retainiso valuable a plant.
