A Portland girl has agreed to marry

that they aro going to win the bet.
Arrangements have been perfected

Hon. I. A. Panoher delivered a telling
speech for silver at Lansingville on Tuesday night. Mr, Pancher has been the
Kopublican leader of Isabella for many
years, and is now doing a grand service

from W. A. Burritt news of the death of
H.JL Wickham,in_ Saginaw on Saturday
evening last. The remains werei"""buried
in Lansing on Monday. Mr. Wiokham
was Glare county's prosecuting attorney

deolining yeajs he should be found expounding a doctrine that the ghost of

woodshed in the rear of Mrs. Clarke residence was discovered to be on fire. The
alarm was given, but ihe fire was put out
with a**few pails of water. It originated
from a bundle of rags, saturated with oil
and turpentine which had been used in
cleaning the M. E. church.
