Sooner or later "everybody will understand that some Grocer's are closer buyers
men otiiers. They will understaiid. ilisx
nobody can go below certain prices without bankruptcy or without slighting
qualities. They will learn that one
Grocery firm in Clare is not only a closer
buyer than the others, but that it's busi*
ness permits it to prosper on the narrowest kind of a margins. Of course this
Grocery is Our's.
There can't be a bit of doubt about
it. It has taken about three years to
reach our present position and in the
time to come we propose to keep on giving
the very best service there is to be had.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lister left
Millersburg, Monday, for their new
home in Clare. Mrs. Lister will
visit, at several places on the way
and will not reach Clare perhaps,
for two weeks* With their removal
from town, has passed one of the
solid, substantial business men,, a
mam whose character is above reproach, whose employment of men
has been one of the factors in building up the village, and whose stay
among us has been for the good of
society and the best things in the,
place. A mill man of more than
local reputation, he shipped much
good lumber and many fine shingles.
His mill was one of those which
ran successfully .and the men whom
he employed, were his Triends. In
Baptist'Church matters particularly,
Mrs. Lister was a moving spirit and
perhaps it is not too much tb say
that the church society owes its
origin to her untiring offorts. In
their removal they carried with them
the best wishes of all. "who knew
them, and the sincere -desire of all
that they may prosper in the new
line of business which Mr. Lister
has selected.—Millersburg News.
