Gilbert Ernest Dyason, of tbat city,
and Miss Cebella Boscber, of Veot-

on Monday, October 2nd. _
Dr. Dyason will be well remembered by tbe many Olare friends be made
while assisting in tbe dental offices of
Dr. F. W. McKuigbt and alao in Mr
Kirkpatrick's drug store during four
months last summer.
Dr. Dyason proved himself a self-
made man. He came to tbis country
without a cent and by bard labor
worked bimself through tbe D. of M.
and graduated witb honors. After
the first of this year be retnrned to
Africa and is practicing dentistry

Annie Orchard was born near Corn-
well, Kngland, December 25tb, 1852,
and died at the age of 70 yeara, 8.
month* and tbree day*. She came
with her. parent* to Wallaceburg,
Canada, when ya *m*ll child. 8b*
waa united In marriage to*9amea Gibson in Kent County, Province of Ontario, September 19th, 1886. They
came to Clare about 30 .years ago and
since have made their home bere.
Sbe was a good wife and neighbor
and wa* respected by all who knew
ber. During the flrat few day* of ber
illness sbe suffered a great deal but
after singing the bymn. "JesuS Luver
of My Soul." she fell asleep from

She leaves to mourn a busband,
Jame* Gibson, and cousin, Mrs.

The attention of our readers is called to tbe display announcement In
tbia issue ot the Northern District
Fair, beld.annually at Cadillac. Tbe
dates are September 11 to 15. Tbis
fair bas come to be onejof tbe biggest
and besthin tbis-eeotion of tbe state.
Two big features of tbe 1022 fair
will be tbe fireworks programs and
the aeroplane act. Tbe fireworks
will be the beat ever scheduled for
any fair in this section and will exoeil
tbose of tbe 1920 fair. Lieut. Hamilton and Mia* LsBelle bave an aeroplane act tbe likea of which bave
never been witnessed in Nortberx,
Michigan. The jronng woman will
perform wing walking and acrobatic
stunts on top of the plane and will

Ohancey Dingman, Cbas. Grover and
Herbert Six, of Grant township,
charged witb breaking and entering
the cider mill of Robert Wbitloelc
and taking therefrom a ten gallon :
keg of older, wbiob was foond at the
Gehrke home by officers witb a.
search warrant.
Messrs. Gebrke and Dingman appeared before Justice Mater and1
plead guilty and were fined «20 an«l
coats wbicb amounted to *23. Grove/
and Six took leave of tbe Country
without permission and their whereabouts are unknown, but tbe charge*
will remain against tbem.
