New Era Association
D. Webster, General Secretary of
this association, and hissonE. Webster
who is well known in Saline and a
former resident, are here for a few days
in the interest of this society. The
—vt Era is unique in respect to its
organization being in all respects a
fraternity, but without alodge expense.
It gives ths insurance protection at
cost as proven by the experience of the
Woodman, Maceabee and Foresters,
but without lodge dues thus giving
about 33.00 more insurance for the same
money. The claim is made that but
two fraternities that ever 'became
established sufficiently to pay a death
loss in full bave failed, and that the
mutual assessment companies are a
radically different kind of organization.

A short time ago the fa"mers about
Biissneld concluded to buck the trusts
and combines, and decided to handle
their own produce and live stock in the
Toledo markets. Plans were made to
ship a carload of hogs as a starter, and
before loading they met to appoint a
member to market the load. After a
lot of discussion they were unable to
saibRj-he matter, for the reason that
they were unwilling to entrust the
stock with any one member. A lady
who owned a farm and wanted to join
in shipping, wanted to go in charge of
tbe load, but the vote was against her,
and after a lot of wrangling the antitrust association was declared a big
fizzle. Now the business is again in the
grip of the unmerciful octopi.—Ex.

Our wrap business this year has been almost phenomenal. So many
gratified customers have purchased their Wraps of us that we feel safe in saying
that in no other store in Ann Arbor will you find such quality, style and workmanship for the money. People look at our Wraps, go out. look all around
town and come back saying "You certainly have got the nicest Wraps for the
money we have seen". Then we are the only firm m the city that has "One
price only" on Wraps. No bantering, no jewing, no talking about price. The
only price is that marked in plain figures on the garment and it is always below
the others asking price by from 10 to 15 per cent. You'll enjoy buying in our
store for there is an air of straight forwardness of honest desire to give you
your moneys worth which appeals to you.
