L L. Lewis has a patented, solution
for preserving eggs. As proqf he exhibited specimens that were treated
July 1,1902 and also the year following and which certainly looked as fresh
as a newly-laid egg. Mr. Lewis breakfasted on uggs of the 1002 kind last
Monday and claims they tasted no different than the fresh ones. He says
ur_der bis process eggs may be kept an
lodelinite number of years and still retain their first quality. His process
ought to claim the attention of monied
men, as eggs bought in summer and
sold in winter surely yield a good return to the investor.—Plymouth Mail.
It is becoming more evident every

Scales Prove the Profit in
Feeding Acme Food on Divided Hogs.
Coral, Mich., April 7, 1903.
Acme Food Co., Chicago, III.
Gentlemen:—On March 5th I purchased a pail of Acme Food on
trial. On March 7, 1903,1 weighed eight pigs, all of one litter, and
divided them into two pens, containing four each. I weighed their
feed and fed_ them alike for two weeks, with the exception of feeding
Acme Food to one lot. One pen were fed Acme Food and corn meal
and ond pen corn meal alone.
The gain in two weeks on four pigs fed corn meal alone was 89J- lbs.
The gain in two weeks on four pigs fed Acme fOodand
corn meal was 119?. lbs.

(Signed) Frank S. Kine.
Kosedale farm, Coral Mich.
You will see as the above figures indicate that in feeding Acme
food the profit equals 65 cents per head per month; then estimating
60 hogs for a carload, and on the same basis, with the same profit,
would equal $39.00 par month per carload in extra gain feeding

Having secured the agenqy for this .Acme Food, I am very anxious to have all give it a trial. Most respectfully.
