A joke is tola on ihree well known

got tired waiting for them and started

Townsend has been promised solid rural mail service in Washtenaw county.
If this be true, there will be ■ some
changes made in the routes already

JTorty year3 ago George HewittT a
resident of Belleville, walked, to Ypsilanti to visit his daughter oa Summit
street, and started, back In the evening. He wag never heard-from again,
seeming to have dropped out of existence. This spring the floods washed
away the river bank near the old hotel
at Rawsonville, exposing some human
bones. Justice A. Ij. Yeckloy found
tbem and investigated further. The
bones were about.a foat below the surface and were covered with bottles and
tin cans. Part of the bones were
washed away, but enough were left to
make sure it was a human skeleton.
It is thought perhaps this accounts for
the body ot the missing George He-
wilt.—Ypsilantian.
Premier Balfour thinks there is no

Dreams at Midnight.
Dreams at Trii<"ni_rht ■. . . All, my sweet,
Sometimes, i* the night's heart, I
Catch the transitory beat
Of a dream that wingeth hy,
"fBrought of gold that seemeth spun
(As your hair is) from the sun;
Wrought of flowers, their flow, their
grace;
(As your face "s—all, your face!)
Be my dreams, then, still of you,
For 'tis midnight dreams come, true!
Dreams at midnight . . . Dearest heart,
In the moo-j's -watches,.. I
Sometimes twP of slumber start,
As a dream goes floating hy,
Fashioned from paresses such *
As I jtnow are in your touch;
Holding all the perfect bliss
Of your yet unmemoried kiss. ,
Be my dreams, then, still of you,
For 'lis midnight dreams come true!

Startling Evidence.

the time without being* benefitted.
Then I began taking Dr. King's New

cured me." . Equally effective in curing all Lung and Throat troubles, Consumption, Pneumonia and Grip. Guar-
