The Supreme Court has reversed the
decision of the "Wayne County Circuit
Court in the case of the D., Y., A. A.
& J. and the city of Detroit as to

Two of Ypsilanti's young men started for Portage Lake Saturday afternoon and they" reached Dexter all
right and had shipped their canoe and
thought they would save a livery bill
by paddling up the river. All went
well for a few miles until their canoe
sprung a leak and they were at a loss
to know how to proceed. They managed to drag the canoe for some distance till they struck a marsh and
were obliged to abandon it and take to
the road. They started for the road
and met a man with a horse and
wagon. The man was the worso for
drink and had gone to sleep, so one of
the boys turned the rig around and
drove and the other held the man in
the wagon. When they reached Portage Lake they told the man where he
was, but he did not care and the boys
certaiuly did not, so they reached the
lake after many difficulties.—Ypsilanti
