"Pittsburgh Perfect"
Fences The Best Because
1. Staysjare Electrically Welded to the strands forming a perfect union
and an amalgamation with the strands not found jn any other fence.
2. AU stay wires are made as he^vy as intermediate Hne wires. A
fenpe, like a chain, is only as strong .^s the lightest material in it. Think
this oyer carefully.
3. No wraps to get loose, to bold moisture and cause rust.
i. No projections to injure stock or tear wool from sheep.
5. Stronger at the joints than any other fence. Welded together with
electricity. „
6. Guaranteed that the wire is not injured at the joints
7. Guaranteed adjustable to unevon ground.
8. Guaranteed thafr-stays will not separate from joints.
9. Guaranteed all right in every particular.
10. Made by the most modern process and on the latest improved "machinery.
11. Most of the weak points in other fences are on account of the way
he stays are fastened.
Our stays are amalgamatdd with the strands by means of electricity and
the strength of the fence increased a hundredfold over the strength of a
fence where the stays are wrapped or clamped on the strands.
You may pay more money for other fences but you cannot get as good a
fence as "Pittsburgh Perfect,"

Purse Stolen.
Mrs. Isa 17ay, widow of Motorman
Fay, says the report that her purse
containing money and a certificate of
deposit contributed for her relief tiad
been returned is incorrect. A statement to this effect had reached the
police. Mrs. Fay says all her goods
had been packed for removal to "i'p-
silanti, but when she looked for her
money it was gone. The bank, she
says, cannot cash the certificate without receiving a bond for indemnification. Payment has been stopped und
all banks ba.ve been notified, and Mrs.
Fay is certain of securing the money
sometime, but for the present the loss
causes her much- trouble, and she is
without means. Mrs. Fay believes
her purse was stolen.—Patriot.
An Old Relic.
Rev. Mr. Braun, pastor of the German Methodist church, at Ann Arbor
has a genuine old "Strad," made in
1722, when its maker, Anlouio Slradi-
varius, was in his seventy-eighth year.
Its value is in roupd numbers * just
§10,000. About 100 years ago, iu Germany, a tramp fiddler came along with
this violin, badly broken, and gladly
gave it to an ancestor of Rev. Mr.
Braun in exchange for a new violin
that was whole. The violin was repaired, and put in perfect condition,
and today, it is in a splendid state of
preservation and its tone power superb.—Herald.

Fools the Public for Profit.
"Palmistry is a good business," ac
cording to a practitioner who has been
confessing to the Philadelphia Record. "I've been in it for 24 years
now, and it's a poor day when I can't
make $15 or $20. The public love
t» be foOled, and men needn't sneer
and say "women are easily taken in,
for men are my best customers," said
the palmist. "Oh, more *women come
to me on the average than men; but
the men believe everything I tell them
evecytime, w;hile some of the women
are hard to handle. In my experience
a man, even the shrewdest, is more
guillible than a woman. Of course,"
she added, modestly, "the business
takes a pretty quick reader of character and one who can flatter tactfully."

Made Concrete Under Cover.
Concrete construction in the more
northern locations has been somewhat
hampered by the exceedingly low temperature encountered. This "was overcome last winter by conducting- such
work under cover at Lengue Point,
Montreal, in the building of a traits-
former house made entirely of concrete. The structure measures 46x46
feet and 32 feet high. A tent of sufficient size to cover the structure was
erected and the interior heated by
steam coils and salamanders, and
work was continued inside the tent
without any regard to the temperature outside, which at times was very
low.

COFFEE
If there is any article that can be used to deceive
the public and mix them up it is coffee. The Kuno
Blend Coffee is, without a doubt, the best grade of
coffee sold for the price. This coffee has not only
the flavor but it has strength, 18c is the retail price.
Traveling salesmen have tested this coffee with a
view to give us as good or better grade, but in every
instance they have failed. The blend of this coffee
is most excellent. It pleases the Co-operative Co.
that they can offer such quality for so small a price.
We are forced to buy in 5 case lots that we can
hold the price down. If you are not using Kuna
Blend Coffee, give it a trial.
COATS--We have a few Silk Coats that we offer
at actual cost, now is your chance to get one.
SKIRTS-Ladies, we haye the style, the quality,
the price, our sales are splendid. Do not go out of
the city for this line of goods.
GROCERIES—You know it pays to trade with us.
MUSIC—More new music this week, some grand
good vocal and instrumental pieces and very cheap.
Special for Saturday
Close prices, good attention to 'all customers, a
welcome here and return, a good place to feel at
home. Reliable merchandise always.
