Fences The Best Because
1. Stays|aro Electrically Welded to the strands forming a perfect union
and an amalgamation with tho strands not found in any othor fence.
2. AU stay wires are made as heavy as intermediate lino -.vires. A
fence, like a chain, is only as strong as the lightest material in it. Think
this over carefully.
0. No wraps to get loose, to hold moisture aud cause rust.
1. No projections to iujurt, stock or tear wool from shoep.
5 Stronger at tho joints than tiny other fenco. "" Welded together with
electricity.
(5. Guaranteed that the wire "us not injured at chu j-jints.
7. Guaranteed adjustable to uneven ground.
S. Guaranteed that stays will not separate from joints.
9. Guaranteed all right in every particular.
10. Made by the most modern process and on the latest improved machinery.
• 11. Most of the weak points iu other fences are on account of the -vay
lie stays are fastened.
Our stays aro amalgamatdd with the strands bv means of electricity and
the strength of the fence increased a hundredfold over the strength cf a
fence where tho stays aro wrappod or clamped on the strands.
You may pay more money for other fences but you cannot got as good a
fence as "Pittsburgh Perfect."

The Dog Came Back.
An amusing incident- occurred the
other evening at the county clerk's
office tn which Master Seward. Cramer
figured as C|_u-Ue a financier. Mrs.
Cramer was busy looking up some
masters in the office and when the
janitor of the court house, Marvin
Davenport-, marched in aud informed
her that he had sold his flog, she at
first evinced no interest, apparently
falling to see how it concerned her.
She soon '-caught on", when Mr.
Oavenport, informed, her that the purchaser was her son. It happened this
way. Mr. Davenport was: out on the
sidewalk and he dog, his inseparable
companion, was not far away. Seward
espied the dog and ir. qui red, "Is the
dog for :saio"?:1 "Yes,". Davenport
replied. "How much will yon take
for him,'*-**** came another question.
"Well, how much will you give?"
The reply came promptly, "Thir'ty-
flve cents.'' This happened to be all
the spending money the boy had vvith
him. The bargain Was struck and
Seward: marched otf with the dbg* tied
to a string*. Mr.. Davenport returned
the money to Airs Cramer with thi*'
advise to see that the dog was hot lied
too securely. Early risers ufxt morn
ing saw the animfl retui'tiiog to tbe
court house d'-aggiug the String.—Ann

Enemies of Arizona Chickens.
. About four days ago L. T. Clifford,
who owns a fine lot of poultry, was out
in the yard engaged in doing tlie
chores when lie heard an unusual
commotion ip his henhouse. On opening the door and lighting up the building lie was astonished to see a, large
bullsuake lying in the middle of the
floor "with: its body coiled around two
chickens, which were yet alive.
Mr. Clifford struck at the reptile,
landing a blow on its head, when it
immediately tightened its coils and
crushed the chickens. The Snake
measured between Sty- and 4 feet in
length.
Oa Saturday evening the. owner was
again, disturbed by a noise among his
fowls, ana this time the cause for
alarm in the henhouse was made by a
large frog who had just finished
making an evening meal of one of the
broilers. Mr. Clifford killed the frog.
