great prize voting contest, inaugurated by The Observer and votes are in
great demand. The town and country are being scoured for them and
the merchants who are giving prizes
are continually being asked for coupons.

the privilege of other young ladies
in the contest and work is required'
to win, that's all.

contest is just three weeks old.
The Committee who will act as
judges of the first count will be announced next week. The first count
will take place Monday, May 29. The
key to the ballot box which is now installed in the sanctum, is in their
hands and they will have charge of
the locking and uulocking the ballot
box at the time of the count. They
are honest men, of good standing in
the community, and will have charge
of counting the ballots and awarding
the prizes.
Many people are willing to help
their friends in this contest and are
only waiting to be asked. The first
candidate to ask, of course will he
the one to. get the assistance of
friends. Those who desire to enlarge their count should get out
among their friends and make their
wants known.

contestant having the largest number of votes on May 29. The special
prize is worth winning.
