PIANO RIMES A HIT
Public is Highly Pleased winh the Beautiful Tone and Finish
of the Instrument.
Work Will Win this'Handsome Piano.
Isn't it pretty? and I wish I bad it!
are the expressions of every lady that
has seen the beautiful Oakland "Upright Piano now on exhibition at C.
H. Schroen's store which will be given
away by The Observer to the lady who
receives the largest number of votes
on the final count in the popular voting contest. Not only the ladies, but
the men 'as well are praising the instrument, and about all one hears
now is, "have you seen the piano The
Observer is going to give away? Oh
go see it. Its a beauty! I wish I
could win it!" We want every man,
woman and child to see the instrument whether you are directly interested cr not in who will win. The
mother, father or brother who would
not like to see their daughter or sister possess this fine instrument, would
surely be of a peculiar nature. No
one has any idea as to who the winner will be, it's up to the ladies and
their friends.
It is up to these girls and the people of S'aline and vicinity as to which
one shall win this beautiful piano,
or some other girl who has been holding back a little shall come toward
with a bunch of votes that will make
them all look as if they never had
any. •»-
One way to guard against this is to
keep right on with the work and one
way to accomplish this is for some of
these other girls to get right around
snd see what her friends will do for
her. This piano is worth working for.
Keep right at the work and don't
be deterred by an idea that you have
"done enough." Remember that whilt
the hare was taking a nap, being so
far ahead of the tortoise, he lost the
race.
Be ready for the second count on
Thursday, June 22.
Now is the time to get your votes.
It is much easier to get them now
than it is to wait until we announce
the closing of the contest and then
start out to work.
Watch every issue of The Observer
for important announcements, and ask
for coupons.
Special Bonus Offers.
For every 7 years new subscriptions, 10,000 extra, making a total of
