| tardily perhaps, that the opening
number of tha winter lyceum course
will be held at the Liberty theatre
on Tuesday evening, "Novembe-' 15,
wheni the celebrated Schubert .Concert company of four distinguished
artists will enterrtain us. ,'
Owing to the fact that material
sufficient in quantity and of the right
size for gettinig ou* tbe usual prospectus was not available, no advertising has been done until now.
The course comprises five excellent
numbers, and season tickets will be
the same as last year, $2 for adults
and $1 for school children. Single
admissions to the concert Tuesday
evening will be 75 cents for adults,
40 cents for children.
A- whirlwind ticket selling cam-
paign will be put on by pupils of the
schools, .Who will endeavor between
now and Tuesday to call on everyone, and it is hoped they will be successful in selling the required number to insure the financial success of
the^ course.
R should be understood by all in
favor of having a winter lyceum
of high class entertainments, that
it is not possible to bring such a
course to Saline unless all take n
hand in making it a financial success. Por the past three years tbe
and unless the support is suflkiant this season it is more than probable it will
be the last undertaken by the Commercial Club.
Boost for the lyceum, and boost
hard, for it is worthy the support of
all.
