course luncheon was served in the
dining room, the table being attractively decorated with a centerpiece of
tulips. At the close of the repast,
with Mrs. Ernst .presiding at the
piano, the guests sang "God Be With
'Sou Till We Meet Again."

Happy Social Event Sponsored by the
Methodist Church Society.
The Mother and Daughter Banquet
of the Methodist Church Society,
held Friday evening, was a big success, the event proving a most pleasant one.
The men of the society furnished
and served luncheon to 135. Following the repast the following program
was given:
Solo—Miss Eunice Barr.
Recitation—Maxine Blaess.
Piano Duet—Mrs. Roy Rogers and
daughter, Pauline.
Vocal Solo—Miss Fisher.
Mrs. Martin Fuoss very ably acted
as toastmistress, the following toasts
being given:
"Keeping Up With Mother"—Miss
Ruth Needham.
"Flapper vs. Old-fashioned Girl"—
Mrs. Harry Friis.
"Apple Sauce"—Miss Muriel Wood-
bridge.
"Banana Oil"—Mrs. Fred Steven-

When our Camp Fire started we
had 14 members. Miss Stone is our
guardian and Miss Shaw the assistant guardian. The members are: Lucille Schmid, president; Velma Jedele,
vice president; Clara Bowen, secretary; Jean Burkhart, treasurer; Helen Layher, song leader; May Schroen.

Frijs. Lucile Rogers, Inez Sloss, Frances Bowen, Virginia Jeffrey, and two
new members, Clarice Cole and Esther Merriman.
The secretary's report for the
meeting held May 16: The first part
of the meeting was in charge of Jean
Burkhart. Two accounts of birds
were given, followed by a little interpretation of the "Dance Doll. Naomi Friis played a selection, "Robin's
Return."
The business session then opened.
All honors had to be turned in on
Monday. Tell from what crafts they
were selected.
We have a council fire June 7 at
the tourist camp if the weather is
favorable. Following- make «p the
committee for this event: Helen Layher, chairman; Lucile Rogers and
Inez Sloss.
All dues must be paid by .Wednesday.
Friday we saw Mr. fBarr's museum.
The next meeting was to be held
May 21.
