The thousands of motorists who are using
DIXIE Gas, Motor Oils and Greasing Service
are wise to the fact that they get 100 per
cent value for every dollar spent at a DIXIE
Station.
There's more to DIXIE than a brand name.
It means service from a group of the state's
reliable independent oil merchants whose
business reputations are pledged to the highest standards of quality and service. It
means protection for your motor car investment, and greater driving pleasure.

The men Vof the church jproved
themselves efffcient caterers, and the
young men equally ca^pahle itf serving
the guests. The tables were splendid
with candles and pretty decorations.
After the delicious^ feast, Mrs. C.
O. Woodbridge, chairman of the program, in a few well chosen -words introduced the toastmistress of the evening, Mrs. S. Schofield, who in her usual pleasing manner presented the
personnel^ of the program. \

is taking her master's degree at the
U. of M., are former Saline girls, and
Mrs. Townsend is the wife of Leigh
Townsend of Ypsilanti, former Saline
boy. Their singing was much' enjoyed.
The address, "Windows," by Mrs.
Frank Miner of Belleville, was both
interesting and profitable. She compared the windows' of houses—some
dark, some light; some, open, some
closed; some bright, some dark;
some full of life and some lifeless,
to .the window of the human soul.
Mrs. Schofield brought the evening's program to a happy conclusion
with a few remarks regarding the relationship between mother and daughter and its sacredness.
