The One Story Bank on the Corner
Nearly a hundred and fifty, mainly
from the country, attended and enjoyed thfe potluck banquet tendered
the 4-H clubs of this district and
.their parents, under the auspices of
'the Rotary' club in the v-auditorium,
(Monday 'evening.
The Rotarians leai'ned a lot about
banquets,' we are quite sure, but for
absolute" good nature, patience and
a. forgiving spirit, we'll -have to hand
a. boquet to thfe assemblages The fact.
no napkins graced the tables, one
.pound of coffee serving nearly one
'hundred, and a few other slight dis--
crepancies: hierei -and there, the feed
•was. a huge- success. The Ret ■'"••*
Anns, at the outset, were to be enterr-
; tained as well as the 4-H clubs and
; pacents,. but their "happy time" came
' in stepping into the hireach and- valiantly saving (the. day and hour fr-
■■their "lords and masters"(?).

; singing the doxology. Arthur Lutz,
'■ the Corn, boys hoys' leader,' was dawn

■ not attend, A. A. Kalder served very
; capably in that pai't.

every way it is safe to 'assume that,
it will be repeated next year, although it miay be divorced from Dollar Day on account "of the fact tha'
cannot be held until so late in the
