George Schumacher, highly' respected "resident of Saline township
for the .past 42 years, died Sunday at
the family home, aged 72 years. He
is survived by the widow, Matilda
Roller Schumacher, a son, Durward,
at home; a daughter, Mrs. Kennard
Wise, of Clinton; two grandchildren;
a brother, William!, of Bridgewater;
and four sisters, Mrs. Jacob Renz and
Mrs. George Klager, of Bridgewater
and Miss Marv Schumacher and
Mirs. Christina Kramer of Saline.
Mir. Schumacher was born in Freedom township and was a lifelong
resident of Washtenaw county.
Funeral services were held at the
residence yesterday afternoon, Rev.
Otto Papsdorf officiating. Interment
in the cemetery at Clinton.
