Last Wednesday evening TKaarer's
took a turn for the better and -defeated Armbruster two out of three

Adam H. Schroen passed away last
Thursday in an Ann Arbor hospital,
after a brief illness. Deceased operated a restaurant in Ann Arbor for
many years, retiring in 1925. Hs
moved to rSTork township a year ago
where he was born in 1869. He was
the son of Henry and Elizabeth
■Luckhardt Schroen. He is survived
by the widow, Margaret Fritz
Schroen; two daughters, Edna at
home and Mrs. Joseph A. Elliott of
Detroit; a son, Edward, at home; five
.brothers, Henry of Ann Arbor, Wil-
liam of Milan, Andrew of Pittsfield,
Fred of Scio and Jacob of -York; a
sister, Mrs. John Houok, of Whitta-
ker; two grandchildren, and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the
residence in York at 2 'o'clock: '.Sunday afternoon, Rev. C7 H.- Wittbracht
officiating. Interment was in St.
Thomas cemetery, Ann Arbor."
