Becord-Breaking Crowds Attended
Affair Staged by the Gross
Hardware on Saturday.
The John Deere centennial celebration in Saline Saturday was attended by record breaking crowds.
A general invitation was extended
to farmers to attend the all-day
session planned to be instructive
and educational as well as recreational.
From far and near they came.
Autos lined both sides of the streets
for many blocks.
Hot lunch was served in the high
school gymnasium at noon and moj
tion pictures were shown in the auditorium. John Deere implements
were on display by the Gross Hardware firm.
While women viewed the gayly
