I Pay By Check
( When you write "pay to the order of
-" you are the commanding officer
of this entire banking institution.
We respond to your command with
a friendly service and give your two
things you can't afford to be without.
1. A RECEIPT—Evidence you paid
the bill and the date you paid it. You
know it was paid and you can prove
it.
2. A RECORD—Your checks and our
statements give you a record of your
expenditures. You know where your
money went.

I don't know of a single year
when I enjoyed my work more
than during the past year wliile
living in Saline. Everyone seemed more than willing to co-operate and assist in all that I had
anything to do with.
Mrs. Fuller and I enjoyed our
trip west very much. The scenery this time of the year is really
beautiful. On our return trip to
the east we met with disaster
which completely demolished our
car. It was caused by a blowout
near Glencoe, Minnesota. No one
was seriously hurt, but my mother received a very bad cut on
her knee. The doctor took 30
stitches in her knee, but she is
coming along nicely at present.
3Mrs. "(Tuller was bruised badly
and I've been nursing a strained
back, but will be alright shortly.
Merilyn Bronson, my wife's sister, received neither scratches
nor bruises. Never ..in. my life
have I ever seen a. picture of a
car sa completely demolished. We
rolled over at least four times
from all angles and I don't believe that there was a .square foot
on the whole car that wasn't
dented or pushed in. We really
