Members absent: Lloyd M. Cofer; E. Allan Morrow.
Chairman Hafstad called the meeting to order at 1:20 P. M.
A progress r eport was given on Union negotiations, Discussion followed.
Further direction was given to Byron Gallagher, Legal Counsel, and
Jack Smith, Service Staff Personnel Director, to negotiate with the Union
officials. Substantial agreement with the Union was reached on all tte:ms
under consideration. It was agreed by the Union officials and the Board
of Trustees that Mr. Smith was to prepare the formal agreement to be
submitted to the Board at the regular meeting scheduled for November 16 ,
1966, for ra:Ufl.cat:f.on. The Union negctlatora would likaviss submit this
agreement to the Union mEmbers for their ratiflcation on November 7,
1966 .
Meeting adjourned at 5:15 P. M.
