It was moved by Katharine Hofstod, seconded by Alfred Fortino and carried
that the Board approve an increase in Off-Campus enrollment fees from
$25 .00 to $30.00 per semester hour, effective Fall Semester of the 1970-71
academic year.
ESTATE OF WILLIAM P. VALENTINE:
Motion was mode by James Umphrey, seconded by Walter Wightman and carried
tha t, since the Department of Speech and Dromatic Arts hod agreed to cony
Mr. Wi lliam Valentine's lood from the dote of his death to the end of the first
semester, a grant representing the ba lance of his first semester $C lary that was
not pa id at the daht of his death be pa id to Mrs . Valentine.
Mr. Valentine joined the stoff of the Speech and Dramatic Arts Deportment
in the fall of 1969.
STUDENT EVENTS BUILDING - ARCHI TECTS:
It was moved by Alfred Fortino, seconded by Walter Wightman and carried

FACULTY ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT:
After reviewing the Facu lty Associotion Agreement, Lloyd Cofer presented the
fo llowing stotement :
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the proposed Agreement between Central
Michigan University and Centra l Michigan University Distri ct of
Michigan Association of Higher Education which hos been pre-sented
to this Boord and wh ich has been ratified by the barga ining
unit members is opproved . The President or the University and the
deans of the schools offering undergraduate instruction ore empowered
to sign the Agreement on behalf of the University.
