It was moved by Mr. Alfred Fortino, seconded by Dr. Roger Busfie ld , and
carried, that the follow ing Reso lution be odopted:
BE IT RESOLVED , That Centra l Michigan University pay to
Evelyn Bovee , the widow of N. C. Bovee, late Vice President
of Business ond Finance of Central Michigan University, and a
servant of the Un iversity for more than 30 years, a sum equo l to
his most recent annU(lI $Clary, payable in such sum or sums as
the President shalf decide in his disc retion, provided that the
entire amount shall in any event be pa id by a year from this
dote, 1972.
It was moved by Dr . Roger Busfield, seconded by Mr. Wo lter Wightman,
and carried, that the following Reso lution be adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED, That the Selection Process for Vice Presidents
of Central Michigan University be omended, as it would apply
to the screening of candidates for the posi tion of Vice President
of Business ond Finance, to expand the screening comm ittee to
a total of fourteen to provide representation for the Council of
Professiono l and Technical and Supervisory Employees and the
Counei I of Administrators.
UNIVERSITY RESPONSE TO STATE AUDIT:
It was moved by Miss Dee Boersma, seconded by Mr . lawrence Rahi lly,
and carried, that the University Response to the Stale Audit be approved.
AUDIT PROCEDURES FOR OFF CAMPUS EDUCATION:
It was moved by Mr. lawrence Rahilly, seconded by Dr. Roger Busfie ld, ond
carried, that on audit procedure be established by Off Campus Education,
whereby individuals wou ld be permitted to reg ister for courses off campus
th rough Off Campus Education for payment of ha lf the reg istration cost
and that those individua ls be permitted to register without the procedure
of formal matriculation.
