AGREEMENT WITH FACULTY ASSOCIATION:
The agreement recently reached by bargaining teams was not ratified by
the faculty. Renewed bargain ing efforts by the administration and the
association will be a imed at achiev ing a new agreement which can be
ratified by the faculty before the end of the current semester.
APPROVAL OF GRADUATION LISTS - MAY 1971:
It was moved by tw . Alfred Fortino, seconded by Dr. Lloyd Cofer, and
carried, that the prospective list of candidates for degrees to be owarded
f.N:ly 15, 197 1, be approved .

Faculty-Trustees lia ison Committee
f'.ks . Katharine Hofstad reported that the Committee voted to grant on
honorary degree to the May commencement speaker, Dr . Robert L.
Ewigleben . Nominees for honorary degrees may be subm itted by anyone
and should be presented to the commi ttee 90 days prior to commencement .
Nominees are to be submitted to the Senate Committee on Academic
Admissions, Standards, Honors and Degrees .

minimum and it is the recommendation of the committee that the following
changes be estab li shed for the academ ic year 1971 -72:
1. Rate increases for dorms
All residence halls, except Barnes Hall, from SI,046 to 51,096
per year.
Barnes Hall: Option I. Continental breakfast wi th meals seven
days per week, total of 20 meals - 51, 070.
Option 2. Cootinental breakfast witn meals Five
days per week, total of 15 meals - SI , 038.
