WHEREAS , Daniel P. Rose has faithfully served as a
teacher, coach , and athletic administrator a t
Central Michigan lkl iversity since 1937;
WHEREAS, As a mon of nonar, good humor, compassion,
boundless energy, and professional competence, he has
brought honor and respect to his University as well as to
himself;
AND WHEREAS, He has indicated his desire to retire as
a thlet ic director and associa te professor of heal th education
on December 31, 1972, after more than 35 years at this
University;
