negotiators for the University and the Associa t ion , which has been initialed

authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of this Board.
ACCEPTANCE OF INTEREST SUBSIDY FOR HEALTH SERVICES BUILDING,
It was moved by Dr. Roger BusField, secanded by Nn. Katharine Hofstad,
and carried, that the following Resolution be approved.
BE IT RESOLVED, That the Department of Health, Education and
Wei fore Annual Interest Grants Agreement for Project 5-5-00552-0,
dated June 22, 1971, in the form of on annual interest subsidy grant
in the amount of S30,336 or as adiusted to the actual interest rate
and amount, be accepted and that the Chairman of the Board of
TNstees or the President be designated to sign same.
EXECUTIVE SELECTION PROCESS,
It was moved by Dr. Roger Busfield, seconded by Dr. lloyd Cofer, and
carried, thot the Academic Affairs Committee correspond with the Choinnon
of the Academic Senate for the purpose of discuiSing the executive selection
process.
Chainnon Umphrey asked that the Minutes show that this move has been
desired by the Board of Trustees for some time.
TlAA-CREF AMENDED RETIREMENT RESOLUTION,
It was moved by Dr. lloyd Cofer, seconded by /tir. Walter Wightman, and
carried, thot the following amendment be approved modifying IV-B, items
one (1) and two (2).
At the election of the participant, the combined sum will be applied
as a premium for a T/AA annuity retirement conhact or a CREF retirement
certificate in any percentage combination totaling 100 percent
in even 5 percent increments . A 100 percent contribution, if desi red,
wi/I be allowed to either TIAA or CREF.
