authority on behalf of the Board shall be revised

Tnc Contracting Officer of tne University is the
Vice President for Business and Finance. The
Contracting Officer is authorized to sign contracts
binding the University in an amount for anyone con·
tract not to exceed S200.000. The Officers of the
University . to wit: President, ProvOSt, Treasurer,
and Secretary, are authorized to sign contracts binding
the University in an amount for anyone contract
not to exceed S200,000. The President and anyone of
the above officers, including the Contracting Officer,
are authorized by the ir two signatures to sign con.
tracts binding the University in an amount for anyone
contract not to exceed S400.0OO. ~y of the abo~
n~d officers may. wIth the written authorization of
the President, delegate authorization to other persons
to sign contracts binding the University for specified
sums per contract not to exceed 540,000. Delegated
contracting power shall be in wrl ting. countersigned by
the President, na~j ng the person given the contracting
power and specifying a limitation in dollars for any
one con tract which may be signed by the person given
delegated power. Copies of the written delegation of
contracting power shall be placed on file in the office
of the Secretary to the Board and in the office of the
Vice President for Business and Finance.

It was moved by Mrs. Margaret Riecker, seconded by Dr. Lloyd Cofer, and
carried, that the fo llow ing reso luti ons (2) be adopted.
BE IT RESOLVED, That the President is autho rized to
take all necessary measures to annex to the City of
PH. Pleasant all land owned by thoe University currently
in Union Township and al I petitions and applications
signed by the President to accompl ish the annexation
are ratified.
BE IT RESOLVED, That the President Is authorized to
grant to Union Townsh ip on beha lf of the Board of
Trustees easements for forced main san itary Sewe rs
across Unl~rsity owned property under such terms and
conditions as arc deemed appropriate by the President.

Sections 2.01 and 2.03 of said Ordinance as orginally
passed and amended are retained and shal l continue to
apply to vio lations occurring prior to 12 :01 o'clock

Effective 12:01 o'clock a.m. on the date this amend·

hereof occurs shall have jurisdiction with
respect to such violation. as provided in Act 291
of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan of 1967,
as amended: Act )00 of the Publ ic Acts of Michigan
of 19~9, as amended: and Act 236 of the Public Acts
of 1961 . as amended.
These amendments shall be published In a newspaper of general
circulation in Isabella County, 11ichigan, and shall be effective
August 1. 1979, or ten (10) days following publication, whichever
is later.
