WHEREAS, Harguerite R. Carlin contribu ted nine teen years
of service in the housing of thousands of studen ts at
Central Hichigan University with the longest term of
employment of any Residence Hall Director to date; and,

WHEREAS, She was always ably assisted by her husband,
Dr. Leslie O. Carlin, and together they worlo.ed as a
leam to the advantage of the st udents in the residence

clauses In whIch the University agrees to indemnify the
school dist ri cts and organllatlons for losses incurred by
the s~hool districts or organilatlons as a result of participating
