RESOLUTION COMMENDING 1980 BASEBALL TEAH :
It was IIIOved by Mrs. I'\argaret Rlecker, seconded by Hr. Leo Farhat, and
carried unanimously. that the following resolution be adopted.
WHEREAS, The 1980 Central Michigan University baseball team
staged a remarkable eleven th-hour performance to win t he
Mid-American Conference Championship on the final day of
conference play; and
WHEREAS, The Chippewas won 10 of their final 11 conference
games and 16 of their last 17 regular season g~mes to complete
their pre-playoff schedule with an O<.Itstanding ~0-12-1
record; and
