WHEREAS, Byron Clendening has devoted thirty-four years
of fu l I- time service to Central Klchlgan University, as
campus photographer, audio-visual consultant, teaching
faculty member, with twenty-six years as Director of the
Audio-Visual/Educational Kedia Services; and
WHEREAS, He has g iven of his time and talents In the
support of curricular and extra curr icular activities of
the University, Including college C3llll director, Apple
Blossom Club pres ident, movie film photographer for the
football team; and
WHEREAS, He has participated in professional associations
on state and nationa l levels, Including service IS president
of the Hlchlgan Audio-V i sual Association; and
WHEREAS, He has taken an active role In service to h is

Hrs. Hargaret Rle cker sta ted that the committee , functioning as the
Faculty-Trustees Liaison Committee, met at the request of Or. John
Hanahan, Academic Senate Chairperson. The liaison c()l!l!llttee 101111
continue to meet each month during the remainder of the year. This

and carried, that the Wilbert WrIght Loan Fund be establiShed and that
the following statement be approved for printing In the bulletin.
Wilbert Wright Loan Fund
Established In 1981 by family and friends In memory of
wilbert Wright. Or. Wright served CMU and the Kt. Pleasant
comm\J'1lty with understanding, Integrity and dedication
through his work with the CMU Counseling Center (1970-1980).
The purpose of the fund Is to create a living tribute to a
man devoted to the enrichment of mankind and dedicated to the
pursuit of higher education.
