The meeting .a. called to order by Acting Chair Voreno at
4:49 p .m.
Ms . Moreno reported that the Assessment and Development Committee
(Pr esidential Search Committee) had conducted inter views ot
candidates to r the presidency of the University .
It was moved by Ms. Wor eno , seconded by ~rs. Tomboul1.n , and
carried by unanLmous vote , that the followiol resolution be
adopted .
8B IT RBSOLVED, That the Board of Trustees invites
Dr. Edward Jakubauskas, president of the State
Unive rs ity of New York at Geneseo, to the cam pus
March 2-4 a s the pr imary candidate for the
presidency of Central Michigan Unive r sity .
It was moved by Or . Denning, seconded by Mrs . Tomboulian, and
ca rried, that the meeting be adjou rn ed .
The meeting ad journed at 4:55 p .m .
